DBasia.news –  After frustratingly watching the drop in Liverpool’s performance, club legend, Jamie Carragher mentions Manchester United is better and has a deeper squad than Liverpool.

Liverpool only gained a single point after playing 1-1 against West Ham United in the 2018-2019 Premier League continuing match, at London Stadium,  Monday (4/2). This has made The Reds just three points from Manchester City.

On the other hand, Manchester United went on swiftly on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s era. The Red Devils are yet to be defeated in 10 matches with nine wins and one draw.

Carragher states what Liverpool and Manchester United is going through can’t be separated from the squad’s compositions. The Reds was said to have made a mistake in the winter  transfer market.

“I have previously said that Manchester United has a better squad than Liverpool. People think this is a weird thing to say, but I think we see those signs,” says Carragher as reported by Sky Sports.

One of the mistakes Jurgen Klopp did was to lend Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth. Even though a lot of the right-backs are injured.

“On the right-back’s position, Klopp made a mistake with letting Clyne leave. I know a few players are injured there, but you don’t have to let him leave. He should have stayed with Liverpool.”

“At the moment James Milner has played twice there and you won’t believe he’s played well since a while. He seems really out of position,” adds Carragher.

“Keita who was brought with heaps amount of money, appeared silent when the ball slipped away. Firmino does not look at himself. As for Salah, he didn’t do anything that night.”

“I think that is a concern for the future. Not being under pressure while leading, but there are a couple of injured players. Liverpool does not seem solid these past few weeks.”
