Jang’s failure was expected
By news-admin
DBasia.news – “We already expected from the beginning of the Malaysian League this season that Negeri Sembilan will not be able to go far as the preparation for the formation of the team itself is less than perfect,” said Negeri Sembilan Football e-Football Club President (N9futbol.com), Ahmad Zaini Baharun.
He said other factors contributed to the worst performance and achievement of the Hobin Jang Hobin squad this season, including the change of head coach three times.
“In addition, the selection of import players is less robust while local players selected are among those who are no longer capable of achieving the highest level of performance to compete with the strength of young players.
“As a result, what Negeri Sembilan squad displayed this time clearly failed to give competition at the level of the Super League.
“As a result, Negeri Sembilan players are now forced to settle with their failure to realize the targets set by the Negeri Sembilan Football Association (PBNS) to keep the league in place for next season,” he said today.
Apart from being knocked out of the Premier League next season, Negeri Sembilan led by Portugal coach Mario Lemos also missed the Malaysia Cup this season, among the worst performances over last season.
The squad finished the league in the bottom of the league with only four wins from 22 matches and 15 points.
Ahmad Zaini said it was time for PBNS and the team’s management to look into the best ways to prepare for the formation of a new team to face next season’s rivals.
According to him, the parties should take advantage of this long rest period to make preparations for a strong team for next season.
“They (PBNS) should solve as soon as possible about the new leadership of the association so that leaders can devise and organize the best moves in forming a new team.
“The preparation for the formation of the new team should start from the beginning so that the selection of players can be done carefully and perfectly and the selected players will be really good quality and can handle the task of winning the team name.
“At the moment, all parties need to forget about the worst achievements of the Negeri Sembilan team and it is time to give them solid support to reshape a more solid, respected and feared team for next season,” he said.
Ahmad Zaini is convinced that if a more rigorous and proper planning can be done by PBNS, the Deer squad with many loyal fans will be able to rise to repeat past achievements and successes.
“The rise and overwhelming success achieved by several other teams like FELCRA FC and MIFA in the Premier League this season should be an example,” he said.
