DBasia.news – Malaysia Super League, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) defeated Perak State Development Corporation (PKNP) FC 2-1 at the Perak Stadium last night.
However, it was not easy for Raul Longhi’s men to wait 73 minutes to break the deadlock.
In the match, JDT dominated the game but did not create much opportunity.
Two attempts by Ahmad Hazwan Bakri who lost in the 13th and 39th minutes were a picture of a fully-dominated trip to Raul Longhi’s men.
The hosts also had the chance but Franklin Clovis and Hafiz Ramdan failed to finish the chances.
In the second half, we witness the JDT’s multiply shoots to break the deadlock.
Their efforts finally succeeded when Fernando Marquez fired from outside the penalty box that failed to be saved by Syazani Mat Puat in the 73rd minute.
Syazani dropped two minutes later when Muhammad Syafiq Ahmad found the target for JDT ahead of 2-0.
However, substitute Fandi Ahmad narrowed the gap for the home side in the 78th minute but the equalizer goal was not expected until the final whistle.
