Jerome Boateng names player who is suitable to replace Lewandowski

DBasia.news – Jerome Boateng has mantioned players who is suitable for Bayern Munich to purchase, to replace Robert Lewandowski. The news states that the Polish player will leave for Barcelona this summer.

The Polish international player is seeking to leave Bavaria as he is reluctant to extend his contract, with many believing the former Borussia Dortmund player is interested in moving to Barcelona.

Bayern themself have no intention of parting with the star. However, if forced, Boateng said Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur was worthy of replacing him.

“Personally, I will try to sign Harry Kane [for] Bayern soon,” Boateng told Sky Sport Germany when talking about who he wants to replace Lewandowski.

“This is my opinion. For me, he [Kane] is a complete striker who scores goals every day for Tottenham, a great team but not world class.

“If he plays in a team like Bayern then I think he’s a great substitute at a very good age of football. It’s all up to Bayern Munich.”

The former Bayern man also spoke about Lewandowski’s reasons for wanting to leave, adding: “I’m not surprised. You can see it a little bit as it progresses.

“For a player like him, it’s legitimate to want to do something new at this stage. We all have such thoughts and phases.

“I think you can understand both sides without making a fuss. It’s challenging, but after the summer break is over, there’s enough time to find a solution that’s good for both parties.

“It is important that both parties are satisfied in the end. As it happened, Robert wanted to leave in the summer. While Bayern said ‘No’.

“That’s understandable, but they had plenty of time in the summer to get a replacement. This also happened to other players.

“Thiago used to want to leave too, so it’s possible. It would be nice if a solution was found for both sides to be successful: Lewy and Bayern in the future. That’s the most important thing.”
