DBasia.news – Romelu Lukaku is close to a moving back to Chelsea. Chelsea midfielder Jorginho supports Lukaku.
The Blues have reached a price agreement with Inter Milan to sign the Belgian football star. Lukaku will be redeemed for 115 million euros or around Rp. 1.9 trillion.
This will be Lukaku’s second chance at Chelsea. Previously, Lukaku had failed there after being recruited from Anderlecht in the summer of 2011. He did not receive many opportunities so he only made a total of 15 appearances.
After that, the 28-year-old striker was loaned to West Brom and Everton before being made permanent by the latter club. Lukaku then accepted a proposal from Manchester United in 2017 then left two seasons later to cross to Inter Milan.
With the Nerazzurri, Romelu Lukaku was finally able to show his class with 64 goals in 95 matches. Lukaku was a key member of Inter’s Serie A win last season before agreeing to return to Chelsea.
“A player like Lukaku, who has had two great seasons, he is a champion in Italy, is definitely a player who will make a big contribution,” the Brazilian told TNT Sports.
“Anyone who joins to contribute will be very valuable. We’ll see what happens next,” Jorginho said as quoted by Metro.
Romelu Lukaku signed for Chelsea after having difficulty persuading Borussia Dortmund’s sensational young striker. He will be paid Chelsea around 12-13 million euros per year (Rp 203.8 – Rp 220.8 billion) and the plan is to contract him for the next five years.
