DBasia.news – AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, refused to comment further on speculation about the transfer of Manchester United’s right-back, Diogo Dalot.
In recent days, Diogo Dalot’s name has been widely reported to be working together again with Jose Mourinho, who is currently in charge of AS Roma.
Dalot first arrived at Manchester United in the summer of 2018, and his move to Old Trafford at that time was partly due to a decision from Mourinho.
Despite admitting that he continued to monitor Dalot’s situation with United, Mourinho refused to comment further on the player’s transfer saga.
The Special One reasoned that the player transfer market was currently closed and he was more focused on taking advantage of the current Giallorossi squad.
“The transfer market has closed. You (journalists) asked me to discuss this, but I’m sorry I don’t want to talk about it further,” Mou said as quoted by Sports Mole.
“I did analyze the situation, but I don’t want to divulge it to you. I don’t want to be further involved in this conversation,” concluded Mourinho.
Dalot himself last season spent his career in Serie A after undergoing a loan period with AC Milan.
However, in the 2021/22 season, his services were again used by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United, to serve as a competitor to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
