DBasia.news –  The highest authority of English football, the FA, have imposed a fine on Jurgen Klopp of 45,000 pounds or around Rp. 825 million. The sanctions are related to his comments about the referee.

Klopp made a comment that questioned the integrity of the referee in Liverpool’s match against West Ham United on February 4 2019. The match led by referee Kevin Friend ended in a 1-1 draw.

One Liverpool goal was created by Sadio Mane. However, the incision was quite controversial because it smelled like an offside in the first round.

Klopp believes that Friend had made a mistake by validating Mane’s goal, he also made a number of decisions that was detrimental to Liverpool in the second half.

“We had good moments and scored goals, but I said that it was offside. “This explains a little on what happened in the second half because I’m sure the referee knew the goal was offside,” said Jurgen Klopp.

“You see there are many strange situations. They are not decisive, but are the breakers of the rhythm of the game. That clearly doesn’t help us, “he said.

The sanction was not the first time to be given to Klopp. Previously, he had also been fined 8,000 pounds, equivalent to Rp. 146 million.
