DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, highlighted the strange 2019 summer transfer window. He was surprised that the transfer market was not closed simultaneously in Europe.

Klopp underlined the transfer rumors that still accompany English clubs. In short, they can still lose their mainstay players as the transfer market is still open in Europe, meanwhile they cannot recruit successors.

“I don’t care when it (the transfer market) is closed, I just think it should be closed simultaneously (in Europe),” Klopp said, as reported by Sky Sports.

“When they say ‘Let’s finish it before the season starts so everyone knows about their squad’ – that’s a good idea. But then, other countries don’t do it and it doesn’t make sense.”

Klopp hopes that in the future there will be a review of the transfer market. Naturally, the summer transfer market should end simultaneously in Europe.

“Can someone explain what’s in it for the Premier League? We don’t really have a problem, but for other teams, their key players are still in the transfer market and anything can happen,” Klopp added.

“You want a team that is not only together (at the moment), but together and focused on the future, but that is not possible if the (exit) door is still open.”

“I fail to understand why this decision was, at least, reviewed beforehand. At first it was a good idea, but it didn’t work well, so let’s change it again,” he concluded.
