DBasia.news – Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, admits that until this moment no one can match the Manchester City bomber, Erling Haaland.
According to the German tactician, Mohamed Salah’s achievements over the last few seasons doesn’t deserve to be compared with the former Borussia Dortmund striker.
In total, Haaland has scored 20 goals in 13 games in all competitions for The Citizen this season, while Salah has only scored 5 goals in 12 appearances.
“No one can overcome Haaland’s current situation. What he has done is insane,” Klopp said as quoted from the club’s official website.
“He is an extraordinary player, in an extraordinary team too. And we should not compare anyone with him.”
Even so, Klopp still insists that Salah is an extraordinary player and you are still the Reds.
He also hopes that the Egypt international player can rediscover his best game.
“Although at the moment the number of goals he has scored is not as crazy as usual, his involvement for the team is still good, his passes are still good,” he added.
“With Mo, my hope is the same for this team, that we are close enough to explode again.”
“Mo really really wants to score goals. Just ask him in 20 years, the answer will be the same.”
