Klopp also praised the performance of Gazzaniga in this match. Because the Argentine goalkeeper made 12 significant saves in the Spurs goal.

“I think the victory was appropriate. We know it will be difficult, but when they score after less than a minute it makes it more difficult. We react, keep pressing. But their goalkeepers are amazing,” Juergen Klopp was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“Their goalkeeper made an incredible save, but we remained calm. In the first round, we said this match only had one problem, which was the score. There are one or two things we can do better and adapt a little,” said Klopp.

Furthermore, Klopp claimed that foster children a little inconvenience with the Spurs style of play in the first round. Moreover, the speed of the Spurs players and also the danger of Harry Kane on the front lines had become a problem for Liverpool.

“I’m not surprised by Tottenham. They have the qualities that cause any team in world problems. We have 70% possession but it’s nothing for a team like Tottenham. Because every time you lose a ball, they have speed on the counter-attack and Harry Kane is very strong,” Klopp said.
