DBasia.news –  Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said he was flattered at the request of Franz Beckenbauer to train Bayern Munich.

Last midnight, Klopp returned to Germany when he brought Liverpool to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League last 16-second leg. In the match, Liverpool won 3-1.

After the match, German soccer legend Franz Beckenbauer considered Klopp potentially training Bayern Munich in the future. However, Klopp tried to clear the situation by saying it was still at home to Liverpool coach.

“There is no greater legend in Germany than Franz Beckenbauer. I feel great he speaks positively about me. Like a king with his sword calling a man as master,” Klopp said.

“If he thinks so, that is a compliment to Liverpool. Bayern have done everything right in the last 10 to 15 years without making a lot of mistakes. However, I feel very suitable where I am currently standing.”

“I like here there are many opportunities to develop a good team. I feel confident enough to say that I am the right manager for Liverpool at the moment. Although, in football, we all have to continue to prove ourselves,” Klopp commented.
