DBasia.news – The 52-year-old coach, Jurgen Klopp, indicated he would rest for a year after training Liverpool.
Klopp’s contract expires in 2022 at Liverpool, the club he has taken care of since October 2015. So far, the former Borussia Dortmund coach has presented a Champions League and European Super Cup title.
Liverpool have also been candidates for the Premier League title fighters in the past two years. Klopp formed a deadly trident up front, could be the best in Europe, through a trio: Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino.
Klopp indicated that he would not immediately train if he later left Liverpool. The manager born in Stuttgart, June 16, 1967, claimed he could not work half-heartedly because his commitment was to work with all his energy.
“I have a lot of energy. But I have one problem: I can’t work ‘little (ability)’. I can only do ‘everything or nothing’. When I decide I can’t do it anymore, then I will rest for a year,” Klopp explained to Kicker, a German magazine.
“After that year a decision must be made. But, the chance will be very high and my energy level will be there (high level) again and then I do the work I want.”
Klopp might be going to train the German national team after leaving Liverpool. During his 18-year career as a coach, Klopp has been very experienced training at club level and it’s time to raise the level to international level.
“My wishlist has not been achieved is to coach the German national team. Then, I want to go to Bayern Munich, then Borussia Dortmund, and be in Liverpool for life,” Klopp said some time ago at Sport Bild.
“I don’t know what will be done in the future. I hope that now or the next three years will continue the same way. Then, I will make a decision.”
