Juventus, Edin Dzeko and Andrea Pirlo’s 3-4-3 Formation

DBasia.news – Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo, reportedly wants to carry a 3-4-3 formation. And he needs an Edin Dzeko figure to perfect his game scheme.

Kulusevski has been bought since January 2020 from Atalanta and continues to work on loan at Parma until the 2019-2020 season ends. Meanwhile, Arthur was part of the bartering for players that involved Miralem Pjanic to Barcelona.

Reportedly Andrea Pirlo will release Sami Khedira and Gonzalo Higuain to start overhauling the squad after replacing Maurizio Sarri. AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko is the target to replace Higuain.

Even though he is 34 years old, Dzeko is believed to still be an important part of the Old Lady’s game. According to Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport Pirlo has contacted Dzeko personally to discuss his role at Juventus.

Pirlo has even been alleged to have prepared several new alternative tactics to maximize Dzeko’s role. The tactic reported by Football-Italy is the formation of three defenders in 3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2 variations and Dzeko is the target man in both positions.

Dzeko will be accompanied by Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala on both sides of the game. However, if the Bosnian striker Hezergovina likes to pick up the ball in the middle and help build attacks, then 3-4-1-2 tactics are ideal.

In that formation Dzeko can withdraw to pick up the ball – like Karim Benzema at Real Madrid – until Dybala and Ronaldo can penetrate the opponent’s penalty area. Until now, Juve are reportedly still negotiating with Roma to recruit him for 10 million euros plus a bonus of two million euros.

Until now, the problem faced by Juventus in recruiting the former Wolfsburg and Manchester City striker is his wife, Amra. She is already at home in the Italian capital and will give birth to her fourth child.

Juventus 3-4-3 tactical potential if Dzeko arrives: Wojciech Szczesny; Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini; Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Arthur, Alex Sandro, Paulo Dybala, Edin Dzeko, Cristiano Ronaldo.
