Juventus Has full Trust in Pirlo

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Juventus director, Fabio Paratici, ensures his team has full trust in the coach, Andrea Pirlo. Even so, Paratici doesn’t want to burden Pirlo with high targets.

Andrea Pirlo was appointed to coach Juventus to replace Maurizio Sarri. This decision is quite courageous considering Pirlo’s short track record as a coach.

On the way, Pirlo’s Juventus often appeared chaotic. Juventus lost against Barcelona, Fiorentina and Inter Milan.

Juventus’ status as defending champion in Serie A is also threatened. Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo and his colleagues are only in fifth place in the standings.

However, Paratici emphasized that Pirlo still has full trust. Moreover, Pirlo silenced critics by bringing Juve to defeat Napoli 2-0 in the Italian Super Cup final. It was the coach’s first title with the Bianconeri.

“It’s clear that our performance has not been good. However, we appear every three days,” said Paratici as reported by RAI Sport.

“So, there is no time to think about what happened in the past. We just need to focus on the next game,” he added.

“We don’t have any special expectations. We have great confidence in the coach. We did have some beautiful matches and were less impressive like the other teams. That’s why this season has been so complicated.”

Juventus can’t celebrate for too long. They will host Bologna in the 2020-2021 Serie A follow-up match, at Allianz Stadium, Sunday (24/1).
