DBasia.news – Juventus still haven’t found a way to win in Serie A 2021-2022. Most recently, Il Bianconeri hosted AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium, Monday (20/09) am, WIB and again failed to win.
Juventus started the game with a 1-0 advantage through a goal scored by Alvaro Morata in the fourth minute, but after that they were unable to score until Milan equaled the position to 1-1 in the 76th minute from Ante Rebic’s goal.
As a result, Juventus are now in the relegation zone with two points from four matches, resulting from two draws and two defeats. Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus are 18th in the standings above Cagliari and Salernitana.
The result was a number of (unwanted) records recorded by Juventus after the draw. Juventus, according to Opta, have now conceded one goal or more in 18 consecutive league games – since 9 March 2021.
That currently leaves Juventus with the worst record among Europe’s top five leagues. Giorgio Chiellini and his team mates are now just one game away from equaling the record without clean sheets (19 league games in a row) in 2010, the three games recorded in 1955.
Allegri is now also the fourth Juventus coach to fail to deliver a win in the first four games of the season, and the club failed to win three trophies with that record in the seasons 1942-1943, 1955-1956 and 1961-1962.
“It was important to get a positive result and we did it. Defeat won’t definitively leave us behind Milan, but with big advantage, now it’s easier to be in between (with the top of the table),” Allegri said as quoted by Goal.
“The problem with winning games is one thing, winning the league is another, and that means not conceding goals for mistakes like that. We can draw if the other team plays better, not if we give up.”
“There were some positives, in other words the first half, but what made me angry was the last 15 minutes. We should have suffered more, ready to fight to the death. In those moments, you can’t see it being aesthetically beautiful, you just take home the result, even if it’s ugly.”
