Juventus is considered happier with Andrea Pirlo
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Juventus midfielder, Aaron Ramsey has a positive assessment regarding Andrea Pirlo’s leadership. According to him, the Juventus squad is now happier than last season.
Pirlo was appointed to replace Maurizio Sarri at the end of the 2019/20 season. Sarri was still dismissed even though he managed to bring the Bianconeri to the Scudetto. Reportedly, the playing style of the former Napoli and Chelsea coach is said to be disliked by the players.
Andrea Pirlo himself applied a different strategy from his predecessor. The former top Italian midfielder used a three defender tactic, which resulted in a 3-0 win over Sampdoria in the first giornata of Serie A.
“We have a new coach, new staff, new ideas, and the players are very involved in it,” Ramsey told Sky Sport Italia. “I think we are happier than last year.”
“The training sessions were tough but there was also a little excitement,” explained the former Arsenal midfielder.
Ramsey performed well by contributing one assist in the victory over Sampdoria. Another challenge faced by Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus as he will travel to AS Roma headquarters this weekend.
“We started well, but we still need to improve. In this team there are many great players, we involve all the players and help the team achieve its goals,” he continued.
“I am delighted to be playing alongside these top quality strikers,” added Aaron Ramsey.
