Juventus President Discusses Claudio Lotito’s statement About the Postponement of Serie A

DBasia.news – Juventus President, Andrea Agnelli, replied to Lazio President, Claudio Lotito, regarding the delay in Serie A due to the effects of the corona virus. Agnelli satirized Lotito as a virologist or expert in the field of viruses.
The Serie A was postponed due to the corona virus and the delay was expected to end at the end of April 2020. However, it was also tentative as it awaited the development of the Covid-19 outbreak which has spread in many countries and caused lockdowns in many places.
Italy is the second country after China with the most cases of corona virus – but the condition of China has improved at this time. In that situation it was quite difficult to see the Serie A 2019-20 restarting, but Lotito thought differently.
“Can you see the data? Moving away! But I will find out, I am speaking to experts, those who are on the front lines, not with football team doctors,” Lotito said as quoted by Tuttosport.
Lotito’s belief in seeing Serie A is not in line with Agnelli’s opinion. “Of course. You (Lotito) are now (suddenly) a virologist,” Agnelli stated.
Agnelli refers to the difficult conditions to restart Serie A because of the uncertain situation due to the corona virus. While Lotito was allegedly hoping the league to continue as the position and the performance of his team has been good at the moment.
Lazio is ranked second in the standings with 62 points from 26 matches resulting from 19 wins and five draws. Ciro Immobile and colleagues have a great chance of winning the last Scudetto won in 2000.
