Juventus’ transfer update: Sale on players to accomodate Dusan Vlahovic

DBasia.news – Juventus are getting closer to realizing the transfer of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina. The operation for the transfer of the 21-year-old Serbian striker was not cheap, reaching €75 million plus eight million in bonuses.

Negotiations are still ongoing but Juventus are getting closer to signing Vlahovic. The consequence with Vlahovic’s transfer to Juventus is that the club currently coached by Massimiliano Allegri has to release several players.

Juventus have to streamline the squad to reduce spending and currently, there are three names that have a chance to leave. Reporting from Football-Italy, the three players are Arthur Melo, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Dejan Kulusevski.

Moreover, there is news that Juventus, on the other hand, has agreed to borrow Nahitan Nandez from Cagliari with a permanent purchase option. No doubt Juventus have to give one slot left in midfield.

The current situation is, Bentancur is interested in Aston Villa but the club does not want to spend 20 to €25 million as Juventus require. Villa are looking to revolutionize the squad under Steven Gerrard after signing Philippe Coutinho and Lucas Digne.

While Arthur is in demand by Arsenal. But the Gunners do not want to loan him for 18 months and also have the option of an obligation to purchase him, while Juventus do not want to loan the Brazilian midfielder for six months.

Kulusevski was also released on loan and Everton were interested in him. However, the Swedish striker did not want to move to Everton, especially after the club did not have a manager after sacking Rafael Benitez. It will be interesting to wait for the transfers that will occur ahead of the winter transfer deadline.
