DBasia.news –  The Bayern Munchen squad regeneration project has begun. Alphonso Davies, Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez, three young players who managed to be secured by Bayern. Now, Bayern is allegedly eyeing on Kai Havertz, Bayer Leverkusen young midfielder.

The official price of up to 100 million euros is said to be set by Leverkusen for those interested in Havertz who is not even 20 years of age (19 years). Havertz was in demand because of the great talents predicted to become the backbone of Germany in the future.

Havertz has made 35 appearances this season in all competitions with 13 goals and six assists. The former Leverkusen striker in mid-2006-2018, Stefan Kiessling, advised Havertz not to rush to move to Bayern.

“I can give a lot of suggestions, but what he did then (Havertz) is a different thing. Another season with Leverkusen will be good for his development,” Kiessling told Sport1.

“Clubs like Bayern, for example, in my opinion, will come too early for him. He is still 19 years old and still has plenty of time (to develop),” continued the 35-year-old man.

Kiessling also understands that young players in the Leverkusen squad are currently in great demand by big European clubs. Besides Havertz, there is also Leon Bailey, Julian Brandt, and Jonathan Tah who are targeted by other European clubs.

“But clear offers will still come, as he is simply a very good footballer. But, Kai still has a contract with us. He is a very important part of the team; we want to be able to play in Europe as often as possible,” Kiessling added.

“It’s good for young players; this is good for the club. I think some things might still happen at this stage,” he concluded.
