Kessie and Barella Become Ramsey’s Substitute Options at Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey

DBasia.news –  Arsenal failed to extend the contract of Wales midfielder, Aaron Ramsey. As a result, Ramsey will leave for free to Juventus in the transfer market next summer.

Ramsey’s departure has reportedly made Emery already actively seeking successors to fill his role as an attacking midfielder.

At first, the movement of Emery in bringing Denis Suarez in the 2019 winter transfer market as a loan player will make him a successor to Ramsey. As is known, Arsenal have the option to make the Barcelona player permanent with a transfer price of 18 million pounds.

However, reportedly the former coach of Sevilla is not interested in making Suarez as a permanent player due to disappointment with the performance displayed by the Spanish player. Therefore, Emery was allegedly going to look for new players again to find the vacant position of Ramsey in the next season.

Reports by Mirror Football stated that Arsenal already has two names of candidates to bring Emery in the upcoming 2019 summer transfer window. Franck Kessie, who is rumored to have not been feeling at home with AC Milan, is rumored to be the first candidate for the Gunners.

The second name that entered the London Cannons shopping list, is the player belonging to Cagliari, Nicolo Barella. But for Barella, Emery’s foster children must compete with city rivals, Chelsea.
