Kevin-Prince Boateng Home In Barcelona Robbed

Kevin-Prince Boateng

DBasia.news –  An unfortunate luck has fallen on the 31-year-old Barcelona midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng. His home in Barcelona was a robbed when the former Sassuolo player was competing with Barcelona.

This incident recently happened. Barcelona hosted Real Valladolid at the 24 week LaLiga, Sunday (17/2) early morning hrs. In a match that Barca won with a score of 1-0 (via Lionel Messi’s penalty goal), Boateng became the starter.

While he was competing, the thief entered his house in the Sarria district, Barcelona, in action. When the match was over and Boateng returned home, he realized his house was robbed.

Sport-English has reported that Boateng had lost jewelry and cash with a price range of 300-400 thousand euros, equivalent to four-six billion rupiah. Local police are investigating the incident, moreover it was not the first to occur.

Previously, Jordi Alba, Barcelona left back, also suffered a similar incident. His house became a target for thieves when he was preparing to defend Barcelona ahead of the Champions League match against Inter Milan. Alba’s house was damaged when his family was in the house. Luckily, no one was injured from the incident.

According to reports received by the police, the method used by the perpetrators was the same in both incidents. The thief entered through the window, then opened the safe to Boateng and Alba’s house. Worse yet, the zone of Boateng’s and Alba’s houses are in the same area.

The police are expected to be able to move quickly to arrest the perpetrators. Because, if it is not immediately resolved, it will be an insecurity and inconvenience for Barcelona players, especially Boateng and Alba who have become victims.

If it is allowed to continue, this could affect the focus of the players ahead of the match, because they are worried about their family’s safety at home. The loss of property can be replaced by the income of exorbitant players, but the safety of human life is more important than the property itself.
