DBasia.news – Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised adaptation process of Fabinho. Klopp admitted Fabinho still needs time, but he follows The Reds’ playing style.
Fabinho joined Liverpool in the 2018 summer transfer market. At that time, The Reds paid £43,7M (Rp818 billion) to recruit him.
However, Fabinho didn’t play when Liverpool won against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. In fact, the other new recruits like Naby Keita and Alisson went on the pitch.
The situation raised the assumption that Fabinho hasn’t adapted to British football style. The Brasilian player also has the probability to be the failed transfer of Liverpool.
However, Jurgen Klopp defended Fabinho. The Germany manager said Fabinho just needs a little more time in adapting to the Premier League.
“It is about players understanding the position and who else is available as well, otherwise Fabinho would have been involved in the squad as he was in the first week,” said Klopp to Sky Sports.
“It is different football to what he is used to but he is improving already with big steps.”
“I can see that in the sessions and that is cool. He is used to playing at a high level in France. It is not about who we play but about how we play,” Jurgen Klopp continued.
