Klopp says Divock Origi is a legend

DBasia.news – Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, praised Divock Origi’s performance against Wolves. Klopp did not hesitate to call Origi a legend.

Divock Origi became the hero of Liverpool’s victory at Wolves headquarters. His goal in injury time ensured the Reds brought it home from Molineux.

“Divock Origi, the legend, got it done and it’s a great story,” said Jurgen Klopp, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“I told him when I came on that this was the game. We see a lot of goals like that in training.”

“Winning in the 95th minute was great. However, with Origi scoring it was even better. He scored some of the most important goals in the history of this club.”

Jurgen Klopp hopes Origi will obtain more opportunities to show off. Klopp felt that Origi did not have a negative influence even though he was only a backing striker.

“Origi is an extraordinary striker. For some reason, he doesn’t play often. However, I hope one day he finds a manager who plays him more than me,” said Klopp.

“He’s one of the best strikers I’ve ever seen in my life. In a great team with our front three, he doesn’t feature all the time. But he’s a positive player, loves the club and wants to contribute in an extraordinary way.” Divock Origi is often Liverpool’s hero at critical times. Origi scored twice in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. In addition, he also scored in the Champions League final duel against Tottenham in 2019. Origi also collected five goals in the Merseyside Derby
