Klopp’s Response of Mourinho Harsh Critic About the Trophy Achievement

Jurgen Klopp

DBasia.news – It didn’t take a long time for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to hear the harsh critic from Jose Mourinho. He assumes title doesn’t necessarily mean all the achievement of the team.

The high tension rising ahead of the match between Liverpool Vs Manchester United in the 2018-2019 Premier League. Even though the match would be conducted on Sunday (16/12), both teams have intensified the tension.

Jose Mourinho gave his ultimate strategy to drop the contender’s mentality before the match. The Special One highlighted Klopp’s performance who hasn’t contributed any title for Liverpool.

Won’t stay still, Klopp responded to Mourinho’s statement. The former Borussia Dortmund manager admits that he just wants to give the best for Liverpool.

“Do I have to? Do I have to win it? People might remember that but what I have to do is make the best of the things the club is offering me – that is what I believe in,” Klopp insisted cited by Soccerway.

If we compare it, Mourinho indeed has a better achievement than Klopp. The former Inter Milan coach has won three titles, Community Shield, League Cup, and Europa League in two recent seasons with Manchester United. Meanwhile, Klopp’s trophy cabinet with The Reds is still empty.

“If people say the Champions League campaign last season was not a success because we didn’t win the final then I cannot change that. Is the finish successful? No, but the ride was brilliant. I enjoyed it a lot,” Klopp said.

“Going to the final was fantastic but in life – in all departments of life including your job – if only the best counts and effort doesn’t count then life is s***,” the manager said.

Liverpool are leading the Premier League table with one point achievement higher than Manchester City. Meanwhile, Manchester United are in the 6th position with 26 points.
