DBasia.news – Inter Milan’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio has revealed that conversations are taking place with Tottenham Hotspur regarding defender, Milan Skriniar.

Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho, is reportedly an admirer of Milan Skriniar. The Special One believes the former Sampdoria defender will be very useful for The Lilywhites’ defense.

Tottenham also headed to Italy to make an offer. Reportedly, Tottanham’s offer has reached a total of 50 million euros including bonuses.

However, the offer was rejected by Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri decided to keep Milan Skriniar. Ausilio believes that losing Skriniar will make Inter lack in players at the back.

“I will not confirm any negotiations for Milan Skriniar,” Ausilio told DAZN.

“It is true that there was a meeting with Tottenham Hotspur. However, that only confirms that Skriniar is not in our shopping cart.”

Reportedly, Inter sold Milan Skriniar for 60 million euros. If Tottenham is unable to fulfill it, La Beneamata will be happy to keep the defender.

“We have released Diego Godin in a defensive position. We think we cannot lose Milan Skriniar as well,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Milan Skriniar did not play when Inter Milan won 4-3 against Fiorentina in the second week match of the 2020-2021 Serie A, at the San Siro Stadium, Sunday (27/9) am, WIB. Danilo D’Ambrosio’s goal in the 89th minute has made Inter obtain three points.
