Krasimir Balakov Speakes about Racial Issues in England vs. Bulgaria

DBasia.news –  Krasimir Balakov, coach of the Bulgarian national team, apologized to racial victims related to the issue of racialism between England vs Bulgaria.

Bulgaria vs England some time ago was marked by racial harassment by some host supporters. Thanks to this action, the match was briefly stopped for several minutes in the first round.

Balakov also got the spotlight from international media. The reason, he claimed not to hear of racial harassment committed by supporters in the match against England.

“I strongly condemn the behavior of racism that contradicts human behavior. These things are the fruit of the thoughts of the Bulgarian people in the past and must be immediately abolished,” Krasimir Balakov was quoted as saying on the London Evening Standard page.

“Because of the insults given to me as the coach of the Bulgarian national team, I want to apologize to all the members of the British national team and people who are hurt for the behavior of our supporters,” continued Balakov added.

Racial harassment by supporters was long-tailed. The head of the Bulgarian Football Federation, Borislav Mihaylov, decided to step down from his position after being urged by the Prime Minister, Boyko Borissov.

Before resigning, Mihaylov also briefly received negative attention. The reason, he stated that racial harassment received by Raheem Sterling et al is a mere lie.
