Kulusevski Needs Time to Adapt in the Premier League

DBasia.news – Dejan Kulusevski has recorded two matches with Tottenham Hotspur since being brought in from Juventus. According to him, moving from Serie A to the Premier League is not easy.

Juventus loaned Kulusevksi to Tottenham at the deadline of the transfer market last winter. The Swedish player became one of the victims of the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic.

Kulusevski will defend Tottenham for the next 18 months. The Lilywhites also have the option to own them permanently.

Kulusevski made his debut with his new club when Tottenham won 3-1 over Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup last weekend. He played as a substitute since the 68th minute.

Kulusevski then made his first appearance in the Premier League when Tottenham hosted Southampton, Thursday (10/2) early morning WIB. Returning to the role of a substitute, this special moment was marked by defeat.

Even so, these two appearances left a deep impression on Kulusevski. He feels the Premier League is not like the sport of football in general.

“The Premier League is a different sport, there is more intensity and physicality. It’s almost like there were no fouls here,” Kulusevski told Sky Sport Italia.

English football is known to be hard and fast. The referee often allows a number of collisions so that the game does not stop often.

Although surprised, Kulusevski refused to complain. He is determined to play an important role at Tottenham.

“Life goes on and I had many beautiful moments with Juventus, especially last season. Now I am a Tottenham player and I am happy,” he concluded.
