Kurt Zouma’s Sister Is Also Sanctioned in Cases of Violence against Animals

Zouma was caught kicking and throwing shoes at two pet cats at his London home. The West Ham United defender’s action was recorded by Yoan who was giggling at his brother’s behavior.

The video of Zouma’s violence against his cats received negative public response. Many criticized the 27-year-old’s actions and demanded that he be punished.

The RSPCA, the UK’s animal protection charity, has arrested two of Kurt Zouma’s cats. West Ham United imposed a fine of 250,000 pounds (Rp 4.9 billion) on Zouma.

Zouma was also terminated by his apparel sponsor, Adidas. Animal rights groups in France even filed criminal charges against the former Chelsea.

Zouma admitted that he regretted having done violence to his pet cats. He asked for the fine money from him to be given to an animal protection charity.

“Therefore, the Club has decided that Yoan will not play for Dagenham & Redbridge in any competitive fixtures until the RSPCA completes its investigation. Any further action it deems necessary to be taken will be taken at the end of the RSPCA investigation,” the English fifth division club revealed.
