DBasia.news – La Liga, the highest caste of the Spanish League, will again fill the world of football starting June 11, 2020. The return of La Liga after going through a period of suspension due to the corona virus outbreak will begin with a series of the 28th jornada.
LaLiga has entered week 27 and on week 28 will take place on Thursday (11/06) El Gran Derbi will open between Sevilla against Real Betis. The match will be held at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
At the moment the top position is occupied by Barcelona which has 58 points, followed by Real Madrid with 56 points then Sevilla (47 points), Real Sociedad (46 points) and Getafe (46 points).
Later there will also be a match that takes place at 13:00 local time, or 18:00 WIB. LaLiga also sees the temperature conditions during the match and will continue to monitor the weather forecast.
“There is a match at 13:00 (local time), we have seen that on weekends the temperature will drop compared to the last few days, expected changes will be played at 17:00,” stated Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga quoted from Marca
“There will be a strange Monday without LaLiga football, but the first two matches provide a starting picture (competition and matches) until July 19 (the end of LaLiga this season), when we will know (who) the champion is.”
Games will be played without spectators inside the stadium to reduce the potential risk of the spread of Covid-19. Tebas also described the initiative of LaLiga to try to revive the atmosphere inside the stadium.
“Applause for Infinity is LaLiga’s way of paying homage to those who have worked to help us overcome this pandemic,” Tebas added.
“It will be played after 20 minutes in the game, each fan can record their own applause.”
Not only does the 2019-20 season end on July 19, LaLiga also predicts that the new season will begin on September 12, 2020.
“Our plan is to start (LaLiga) on September 12. We know that there are teams involved in European competition, but it is important that the competition starts at that time, considering that at the end of next season there is a European Cup,” concluded Tebas.
