Lacazette Discusses the Tight Competition Seizing the Big Four Position of the Premier League

Alexandre Lacazette

DBasia.news –  Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is discussing the tight competition in the top four Premier League or Champions League zones.

Apart from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur, they are also still fighting in the top four Premier League – Champions League zones. Liverpool and Manchester City are almost certain to finish in the top two. That is, there are only two places left in the big four.

The Gunners have missed playing for the last two seasons in the Champions League. Lacazette reminded Arsenal players not to repeat that this season. Moreover, competition is heating up entering the end of the season.

“This (the fight for the Champions League zone) will certainly not be easy, but also interesting,” said Lacazette, as quoted by Goal.

“Throughout the season the battles are exciting, so we just want to win every game and finish third or four. This is good for us and for the fans,” said the former Olympique Lyonnais striker.

Unai Emery’s care team was very ready to stare at the fight towards the end of the season. Arsenal took advantage of the international break with a mid-season training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“A good idea from the club is bringing all the players available here, Dubai. The weather is good, the field is also good, the facilities are great. Everyone enjoyed it and we worked well for a week,” Lacazette added.

“Now we have to go back to London and maintain focus in the Premier League and Europa League,” concluded the 27-year-old player.
