DBasia.news – Real Madrid reportedly included Eden Hazard in the club’s selling list after being knocked out of the Champions League, and was deemed to have had little real contribution when he arrived two years ago.
Hazard’s case is different, as he arrived in 2019 with the aim of becoming the club’s next superstar after Cristiano Ronaldo died. But injuries and other factors have frustrated Los Blancos and are looking to kick Hazard out. The club in the Spanish capital will listen to incoming offers.
The appearance of the 30-year-old player when fit has not had a sufficient impact considering the price paid by Madrid is fairly large. Hazard was redeemed with a dowry of 100 million euros from Chelsea.
Real Madrid have four LaLiga matches remaining this season and although Hazard helped Madrid win the LaLiga trophy, it will not change the decision to sell the Belgian.
Reported by Marca, the latest furore about Hazard being caught on camera laughing with his former Chelsea team-mate after Madrid’s exit from the Champions League had no effect on the decision.
Hazard has three more years on his contract and Real Madrid still need to pay the Blues off.
Hazard’s price has certainly dropped sharply. For example, Transfermarkt is now valuing it at 40 million euros.
Last season Hazard was only able to appear in 22 matches and this season has packed only 18 games in all competitions.
