LaLiga Star Speaks About the Performance Plan in the US

DBasia.news – Barcelona star Sergio Busquets revealed his refusal if LaLiga is conducted in the US. Busquets assumed, all the LaLiga players don’t agree to that plan.

LaLiga announced the partnership with sports media and multinational entertainment group, Relevent, last week. Part of the partnership is conducting the match in the US and Canada.

The partnership is the beginning of the US football competition. Before LaLiga, there is no competition conducts their matches outside the continent.

The partnership has the goal to promote football due to the position of the US as 2026 World Cup host. Relevent and LaLiga signed the 15-year contract.

However, the plan raised a protest from LaLiga players. Some star players conducted a meeting with Asociación De Futbolistas Españoles (AFE) to talk about this.

Sergio Busquets as the AFE vice president said his opinion about the plan to play in the US. The Barcelona star is upset with LaLiga plan.

“We’re all united, the union is strong and as our president (David Aganzo) has said, we all think the same about this,” Sergio Busquets said reported by Marca.

“Together we are stronger and this is a path that we all want to take and we believe it’s what is best for football,” Sergio Busquets continued.

Previously, AFE president David Alonzo said the players’ disappointment as well. Aganzo assumed LaLiga didn’t think about the players.
