Lazio and Napoli are considering swapping players

DBasia.news – Two Italian League clubs Lazio and Napoli are reportedly currently considering a player swap in the next summer transfer window.

Lazio are reportedly open to swapping midfielder Luis Alberto for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

This agreement is very likely to happen in the transfer market, especially since the two players this season have not had enough playing time for various reasons.

It is reported that Luis Alberto often clashes with Lazio coach, Maurizio Sarri which makes the Spaniard more often on the bench than playing on the field.

In addition, it is believed that Luis Alberto is unsuitable for Sarri’s 4-3-3 formation after years of playing with a 3-5-2 scheme under coach Simone Inzaghi.

On the other hand, Piotr Zielinski also failed to show his best performance with Napoli under coach Luciano Spalletti and the club is now considering selling the Polish player, especially his contract will expire in 2024.

The two players are estimated to have a value of around €40-50 million (around Rp 620-775 billion) and a player exchange is believed to be very possible with Zielinski’s scheme plus cash for Luis Alberto.

This season, Luis Alberto has appeared in 34 of Lazio’s Serie A matches and contributed 5 goals and 11 assists, while Zielinski made 35 appearances and recorded 6 goals and 5 assists.
