Lazio Will Take Legal Action if the League Is Canceled

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Lazio spokesman Arturo Diaconale asked FIGC and Serie A to complete the 2019-20 season amid a corona virus pandemic. Lazio are ready to take legal action if the league is canceled.

Serie A 2019-20 came to a halt on week 26 after an outbreak of the corona virus struck Italy and other European countries. Until now from Wordometers as of Thursday (16/04) 165,155 positive corona cases have been found in Italy and 21,645 people have died.

Diaconale’s disappointment was understandable, because Lazio for the first time since 2000 fought over the Scudetto against Juventus and Inter Milan. The performance of the Simone Inzaghi landing team is doing very well.

As a result, if the Serie A season is canceled, Lazio is reportedly ready to take legal action. This was confirmed by Diaconale, who also served as Communications Director of Elang, the Capital City.

“If this season does not come to a natural conclusion, the next one will be destroyed too, because this problem will end in court and trial,” Diaconale told TMW Radio.

“I hope the field decides who wins, who loses, who goes to heaven and who goes to hell,” he continued.

Another discourse from Serie A operators is playing games in neutral, stadiums in safe areas with a small amount of positive corona virus.

According to Diaconale it was impossible because it made the situation worse. Diaconale suggested that Serie A could take place by examining the players, plus the players could live in the training center.

“It will be complicated if we play in the North, especially in terms of traveling if there are still vulnerable areas. Football is a contact sport, but security can be ensured by rigorous testing to check non-positive players before they take part in the match,” added Diaconale.

“Players can stay in training camps that already have medical equipment there and keep them isolated, so this can avoid further transmission,” he explained.
