DBasia.news – Massimiliano Allegri, reportedly, has taken a big decision after choosing to end cooperation with Juventus at the end of the 2018/19 season.
In recent times Allegri has reportedly been able to continue his career in England, to become a Chelsea manager, replacing Maurizio Sarri who is likely to immediately replace Allegri’s position as Juve’s main coach, but now the coach takes a different decision.
Massimiliano Allegri has stated his decision to undergo a break from his coaching career for one season, saying that he needed time to rest and spend time with his family and friends.
“I will undergo a one-year break and go back to living my personal life, again finding the relationship that I have with my family, children, friends, who have been providing support to me,” Massimiliano Allegri said in a statement quoted from Goal.
“During the last 16 years this career has had a significant impact on my personal life, spending the time that can generally be used for family and friends,” he continued.
Allegri stated that he would use a one-year break to restore his strength both physically and mentally to prepare himself to continue his coaching career in the 2020/21 season, although he did not have a definite goal regarding the team he would train in the future.
