Mauricio Pochettino was not exactly a failure at Tottenham Hotspur. In the last four years, The Lilywhites consistently penetrated the top four of the Premier League. In addition, last season, Harry Kane and colleagues advanced to the Champions League final.
However, a series of negative results at the beginning of this season has made Tottenham officials take a firm stand. Mauricio Pochettino was fired. The position of the manager was replaced by Jose Mourinho.

Although unemployed, Mauricio Pochettino has
been associated with a number of clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester United.
Pochettino has a great chance to return to training at the start of next
season.
