DBasia.news – News from Barcelona star, Lionel Messi who wanted to leave the Blaugrana is currently the concern of many parties. In contrast to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, LA Galaxy manager, Guillermo Barros Schelotto only hopes that Messi will come and try the United States League (MLS).

Although there is no clarity regarding Messi’s future, it is reported that Manchester City would be a place for the 33-year-old player to dock. The Citizens are even willing to share with New York City FC from MLS in order to recruit him.

The plan is that Messi will play for three years for Manchester City and then two years with New York City FC. The news of Messi’s arrival in MLS was welcomed by Schelotto even though the Argentine player will come as his team’s rival.

Schelotto felt that Messi’s arrival would raise MLS in the eyes of the world, so he could bring in more quality players for the United States league.

“I was surprised when I heard the news that Messi was leaving Barcelona, because we all knew he was going to retire there,” Schelotto told ESPN.

“However, he must have a reason for that and as a fellow Argentine, I always wish him all the best. I hope he wants to play in MLS, it will certainly be great.” He concluded.
