DBasia.news – Liverpool are reportedly monitoring the progress of Brighton midfielder from Mali, Yves Bissouma. Liverpool are predicted to start moving in the January 2021 transfer window.

According to ESPN, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is eyeing Bissouma as he is considered the right replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, whose contract will expire next summer.

Bissouma, 24 and valued at £ 30 million, is considered a player who meets the criteria set by Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards and the Reds’ recruitment team.

But Liverpool must move quickly to find the player who has defended Lille. Because the Reds are not the only ones aiming at Bissouma. AS Monaco and Manchester United as well as several LaLiga clubs are also reportedly monitoring Bissouma.

Brighton is likely to get an offer for the player next month and the club will do their best to keep him.

Bissouma, who joined Brighton from Lille in the summer of 2018 for around £ 15 million, is on the rise.

He is considered to have statistics that are not much different from Wijnaldum, who is likely to leave for Barcelona once his contract expires next summer.
