DBasia.news – Liverpool also seem to have not given the opportunity to goalkeeper, Loris Karius. Most recently, The Reds officially loaned Karius to Union Berling.
Karius joined Liverpool in 2016. In the first two years, he became the port city club’s top choice.
Everything changed when the 2018 Champions League final took place. The former Mainz 05 made a blunder in the match against Real Madrid.
After that, Liverpool sent Karius to Besiktas. For two years, Karius was at the Turkish club.
“I am looking forward to my new stage in Berlin. I am happy to be back playing in the German Bundesliga,” Karius said as quoted by Sportsmole, Tuesday (29/9).
Karius feels he is in a special club. One of the highly respected teams in the German arena. Now he can’t wait to compete. Karius is ready to give his all for Die Eisernen.
“I want to play my part in this positive development. Hopefully it can help achieve great goals to survive in the Bundesliga,” concluded the 27-year-old goalkeeper.
The Manchester City academy dropout was predicted to become a mainstay of the German national team. But after the blunder against Madrid, Karius’s career continued to fade slowly.
Karius had defended his country in various teams at a junior age. Until now he has never been at the senior level of Die Mannschaft.
