Four teams have confirmed themselves to advance to the final stages of the world’s oldest football tournament. Two clubs besides Liverpool and Manchester City that will participate are Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Chelsea advanced to the semifinals after beating Middlesbrough with a score of 2-0. While Crystal Palace destroyed Everton with a landslide score of 4-0.
An easy victory was also achieved by Manchester City when they traveled to Southampton headquarters. Pep Guardiola’s team closed the game with a score of 4-1.
Liverpool are arguably the most hard-working semi-final. The Reds struggled to beat Nottingham Forest with a narrow score of 1-0.
The FA as the organizer of the FA Cup held the semifinal draw on Monday (21/3). As a result, Liverpool met Manchester City and Chelsea challenged Crystal Palace.
The meeting of Liverpool and Manchester City can be called the final of the morning. Both of them are currently competing fiercely in the Premier League.
