Liverpool’s Craze, Unbeaten Record Becoms 40 matches

DBasia.news –  The Reds’ desire to become the Premiere League champion is increasingly unstoppable. It was proven by Jurgen Klopp’s team that defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers by a score of 2-1. The club which has its roots at Anfield Stadium continues to maintain their passion to become champions and become an unbeaten team during the rolling competition.

Playing at Molineux Stadium, Week 24 of the Premier League, Friday (01/24), Liverpool returned home with three points with a 2-1 victory through goals scored by Jordan Henderson (8 ‘) and Roberto Firmino (84’) which reduced Raul Jimenez’s goal on the 51st minute.

Liverpool defeated Wolves for the first time in Molineux for four straight matches. Not only that, they also won 67 points from a possible 69 in the Premier League this season (played 23 times, won 22 times, drew once, and never lost).

Liverpool, who still have one game remaining, are 16 points ahead of Manchester City who are in second place in the standings. Although the Premier League title is getting closer to Anfield, Henderson does not want his team to lose focus and want to continue to maintain consistency of play.

“We managed to show our mentality again to go ahead and find the victory. You might be bored of me saying it, but this is only about the next match,” Jordan Henderson told BT Sport.

“Every game is the biggest match of the season, as the manager told us. We have an FA Cup match this weekend, so we have to prepare for that.”

“We will give everything as we always do and continue to build on what we have achieved so far,” said the former Sunderland player.

Liverpool are now undefeated at as many as 40 matches in the Premier League and nine matches adrift of Arsenal’s 49 records in 2004. Their acquisition equaled Chelsea’s record (also 40 matches) in the 2004-05 season. A fantastic record.

Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, assessed that his team can still play better after a mediocre performance against Wolves.

“They scored a goal and then 10 minutes it went wild again. We can regain control a bit afterwards and that is important. We have a lot of opportunities, “added Jurgen Klopp.

“We have at least four or five times the chance to face one-on-one with the goalkeeper so if we score then it will end, but that didn’t happen, and the score remains 1-1.”

“Moments that could help us or moments of genius Bobby Firmino could help us. We didn’t panic but we are not fully in the mood when we were 1-0 up.”

“The development of the game has an influence on every individual on the field. One sees opportunities, sees space, but the others are not in the same mindset. That is the story of the match,” concluded Klopp.
