DBasia.news –  Liverpool are among the two choices for their 33-year-old flagship player, James Milner. The choice is to extend it or let him leave.

Steve Nicol, Liverpool’s legend in mid-1981-1994, commented on the fate of the England midfielder. According to him, it is stupid and crazy if Liverpool does not offer Milner a new contract after the contribution and dedication he has given so far.

“It is clear there is no chance he (Milner) goes anywhere more than driving his car to Anfield to sign a new contract. It will be crazy, he has become a big part of this season again,” Nicol told ESPN.

“Regardless of his age, Liverpool will still need him next season. Maybe, he doesn’t play in many games, but he will be needed to look after the entire area on the match,” he explained.

Milner has been strengthening Liverpool for three years after leaving free (due to his contract expired) from Manchester City. Milner interpreted Jurgen Klopp’s tactics well when competing with his tenacity to play.
