DBasia.news –  Although previously always in a state of lagging, now Liverpool more often come out as winners. Liverpool’s Geroginio Wijnaldum revealed how Liverpool finally got out of a difficult time in the match.

Liverpool is still in an impressive performance so far. In the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp’s squad has never been beaten.

One of the keys to the greatness of Liverpool is that they can win the game, even though they were left behind beforehand. Mohamed Salah and his friends flaunt it against Aston Villa.

Georginio Wijnaldum said that Liverpool’s comeback was based on mental strength. Liverpool players never fly the white flag when the match isn’t over.

“We only think we can turn things around. We always have these feelings to stay positive. That is also based on the results that have been made to-date and the way we have turned superior,” explained Wijnaldum as reported by BT Sport.

“All our thoughts are different, that is a good thing. Because, we always think about what we want to do in the match,” he continued.

“It’s normal when you lose 2-0, body language says you want to change. However, if you have these thoughts, we can still change them.”

Liverpool did not make a comeback or twice. For example, the Reds did it last season when they beat Barcelona with a 4-3 aggregate in the Champions League semifinals. In fact, in the first leg, Liverpool was beaten with a landslide score, 3-0.

“That’s because we trust each other. Also, we have the capital to turn things around in the previous match. We’ve done it on many occasions. It gives confidence.”

“When it only happened once, it was not the same. However, what happened was many times. We knew we were a team that could get out of a difficult situation,” said Wijnaldum.

Liverpool will face Manchester City in the 2019-2020 Premier League match, at Anfield Stadium on Sunday (11/10). Currently, the Reds are six points ahead of its closest competitor.
