Lopetegui Talked About Real Madrid’s Transfer Urgency

DBasia.news – The calm situation in Real Madrid was getting stormy due to the team’s necessity to get a new player in the summer transfer market. The 2-4 defeat from Atletico Madrid in EUFA was the trigger.

The loss wasn’t the end of everything from Madrid, but just a warning ahead of the 2018 season without Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane. The supporters seriously expecting El Real to recruit a new player before the transfer market ends.

So far, Madrid less spending and just recruited Vinicius Junior, Andrey Lunin, Thibaut Courtois, and Alvaro Odriozola. From those four, it’s only Courtouis as Europe’s great player. If Madrid don’t change the situation, the supporters worry about the journey this season.

However, Julen Lopetegui admitted the current squad is great enough to play in the 2018/2019 season, where Madrid will serve Getafe in the first week of LaLiga on Monday, August 20.

“We’ve got a magnificent squad here. We’ve got enough talent to be a great team and are convinced that we’ll become just that. I want to focus on getting the most out of a squad that I really enjoy working with,” Lopetegui said reported by Marca.

“We’ll be fighting for silverware on all fronts with the players that are available to us. We fully trust in them and the coaching staff have to get the most out of them. They’ve been working really hard and I wouldn’t question the talent there is within this squad,” he continued.

Madrid still have plenty of time adapting to Lopetegui’s football philosophy. However, with no new signing with Europe top players, Madrid’s power could be read easily be the opponents. They still have the old face like Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and others.
