Losing from Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp is heartbroken

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp admitted that he was heartbroken by the defeat suffered by his squad, Manchester City with a score of 0-4 in the continued 2019-2020 Premiere League, Friday (3/7) AM.

The four goals were scored by Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s own goal.

“That has nothing to do with last week, honestly. It hurts like a painful defeat, “Klopp said after the match, as reported by Liverpoolecho.

Klopp said he actually wanted to see his team fight City strongly. But the reality is different, his team was slaughtered by the host. He claimed his team had many opportunities but was unable to be put to good use.

Liverpool, Klopp claims, did not allow City to attack and it was proven that their two goals came from a throw-in that failed to be anticipated. But Klopp acknowledged that City were a team of exceptional quality.

“This is a reminder of how good Man City is. I don’t need that, I already knew. The surprising thing is that it might be in the league where City plays, maybe someone else would win,” Klopp added.

Sadio Mane and colleagues will continue to visit Aston Villa this week. To be noted, Liverpool are predicted to easily defeat Villa. As the team has been down and now threatened with relegation.

Klopp is uncertain on what to do against Villa. Should he vent his anger from City to Villa. He considered that the Villa match would be different from the match against City.

“We will see (what happens next season). It was temporary until then. We still have to play six matches this season. We now have two and a half days to prepare Aston Villa and that is what we will try, “he explained.
