DBasia.news – Former Liverpool player Lucas Leiva dismantles Trent Alexander-Arnold’s other side. He said the right back was a shy figure.

Trent Alexander-Arnold first strengthened senior Liverpool in a friendly match when the club was still under the care of Brendan Rodgers. Lucas Leiva’s first meeting with him was quite memorable.

He said Alexander-Arnold felt uncomfortable when he first trained with the first team. Understandably, he was only 16 years old at the time.

“I remember a few moments with Trent. I remember him with us playing in a friendly match and he was only 16 years old. He is very shy and Brendan Rodgers is the person responsible for carrying it,” Lucas told LFCTV, Sunday (05/10/2020).

“At first he felt uncomfortable with senior players. But we can see he is now on a different level. After he started training with us in the first team, he waited patiently. But we believe he will be an important player here and become one of the best in the world,” he added.

Apart from the initial appearance of Trent Alexander-Arnold a few years ago, Lucas considered the player to have extraordinary qualities. He also considered that the 21-year-old player has advantages in passing.

“He can see how much quality he has every day. He has the advantage in crosses and hard kicks. He is really a full wing-back,” Lucas Leiva concluded.
