DBasia.news – PSSI vice chairman Joko Driyono said Luis Milla Aspas hasn’t signed the contract extension to coach Indonesia national team. However, the Spanish coach has agreed on the offer to him.
The Executive Committee meeting on Monday (17/9) night agreed to preserve Milla as the coach of Indonesia national team. Furthermore, PSSI secretary general Ratu Tisha Destria will communicate the contract detail and administration of the 52-year-old coach.
“PSSI in the meeting appointed the secretary general (Tisha) to follow up. We hope it will finish within next week,” Joko told to reporters.
Verbally, Luis Milla agreed to extend his contract in handling Indonesia national team. However, the former U21 Spain coach can’t return to Indonesia by now.
Joko said Luis Milla will arrive in Indonesia on October 9, 2018. After that, Milla must prepare the squad for 2018 AFF Cup on November.
“He will come on October 9. We will handle this seriously. That’s the deadline of squad register to the 2018 AFF Cup,” Joko said.
“Within two weeks, we will discuss the squad with the coach. That’s the real challenge for now,” he concluded.
