DBasia.news – The complicated situation of PSSI and Luis Milla Aspas contract has a sweet ending. Both parties met the solution, the Spanish coach accepted the offer to coach the Indonesia national team for another year.
The PSSI Executive Committee meeting with the secretary-general created some important decisions. PSSI agreed to continue the partnership with Milla.
However, Milla isn’t in Indonesia yet shortly. The 52-year-old coach will come on October.
“Luis’s arrival in Indonesia will be on October 9, 2018. After he finished teh refreshing of UEFA-Pro,” said one of PSSI Executive Committee meeting’s result stated by the member, Yoyok Sukawi, when contacted by BolaSkor.com, Tuesday (18/9).
One day after his arrival, the Indonesia national team will have their friendly match against Myanmar. It means there is a possibility that the former U21 Spanish coach wouldn’t be on the pitch in that match.
The decision to keep Milla buried the expectation of his candidate. Bhayangkara FC coach Simon McMenemy who rumored as the candidate won’t be the coach of Indonesia national team.
“Luis has given his positive response for the contract extension request,” the PSSI Executive Committee result concluded.
