DBasia.news – After having expressed doubts about bringing Jose Mourinho, now, Jean-Michel Aulas has changed his mind. The president of Lyon feels this is a good time to work with Mourinho.
Aulas felt Mourinho was the right figure to handle Nabil Fekir et al. This season, Lyon has a big chance to finish third. The current coach contract, Bruno Genesio, will expire in June 2019.
“I always dreamed he could come here and train. But, of course not all our desires can be realized. Especially regarding the coach who is still bound by the contract. Now, I think we have a chance to get it,” he said.
Entering six months since being fired by Manchester United, Mourinho did not show signs of returning to work. Finally, he was rumored to return to Real Madrid which turned out not to materialize.
Mourinho has never mentioned where he docked. However, lately, he signaled interest in returning to Serie A.
