Madrid Players Resentment with Ramos’ Privileges
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid seemed always full of problems ahead of the 2018/2019 season. After considered weak after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, and haven’t found the successor, El Real also had a time bomb of the internal situation of the Champion League 13 titles winner.
The problem is the resentment of some Madrid players came from Spain of how the club treated the captain, Sergio Ramos. Reported by Marca, Ramos allowed extending his holiday for two consecutive years, but the other players playing in 2018 World Cup were asked to return early,
Isco, Nacho Fernandez, Marco Asensio, and Lucas Vazquez were asked to return on July 25-26, while Dani Carvajal on July 29. While Ramos was allowed to return on August 1, one day after Madrid 1-2 defeat from Manchester United during the preseason match in the US.
It upset the other players, especially those came from Spain. The decision from the high-officials won’t be easy for the other players, though Ramos was the captain who has been playing since 2005.
If it’s true, the situation won’t be ideal for Julen Lopetegui team ahead of the 2018/2019 season, where they set the target to defend the Champions League title and win the Copa del Rey and La Liga. Lopetegui should come in handy to solve the issue.
Madrid are doing the preseason tour in the US to play against Juventus, AS Roma and AC Milan before playing in the EUFA Supr Cup against Atletico Madrid on August 16 in Le Coq Arena, Estonia.
